<description>Anyone visiting Portugal as a tourist will need this guide, far and away the most detailed and informative of available guidebooks. You will need the Michelin red guide (which also covers Spain) for Hotels and Restaurants although a few are mentioned here for each city. Pictures are nice and the format is convenient. Green guides are much improved over the old ones that were too densely printed and hard to read.

<description>Highly recommended for visitors to Portugal, is surely the most underrated destination in Europe: food, wine, scenic, gracious people, and Fado!
